Our client is a large national repairs and maintenance contractor working on behalf of the social housing sector for local authorities, registered social landlords and councils.
They are keen to employ 2 Regional Finance Managers to cover operations across the South East.
▪️Accountancy qualification is a must (ACCA/CIMA or AAT)
▪️At least 5 years experience working for a repairs and maintenance contractor that services the social housing repairs sector
▪️Multi-site working experience
▪️Working knowledge of SORs (schedule of rates) and Open Book
▪️Experienced in forecast, WIPS, debt chasing, production of monthly/6 monthly and year accounts
▪️Experienced with looking after a business stream of between circa £70m of turnover
▪️Be able to talk 'figures' to non-finance personnel
▪️Have a commercial finance background
▪️Have an unflappable nature
▪️Flexible work approach, as there will be times this person will need to work to 'out of hours' parameters to get work finished
▪️Be able to liaise with Operations and Bid Teams
▪️Car driver (clean license)
▪️Excellent commicator- written and verbal
▪️Willingness to travel to different branches on a daily/regular basis (For the time being work will be done remotely)
▪️Client's include Broadstairs, Canterbury, Orbit Housing (Dartford), Goldings, Maidstone, Eastbourne, Crawley, Orpington and Hammersmith and Fulham (+ some other small operations)
